Botswana, Namibia and Zambia - June 2009

In June of 2009 I went back to Botswana, on the same trip as my original African visit in 2005, this time with my friend Didi. As well as Botswana we visited the Caprivi Strip in Namibia and spent a few days in Livingstone, Zambia to visit Victoria Falls (this time with water going over it). Possibly the highlight of the trip was a few days spent on a houseboat on the Okavango River. The small boat trips provided excellent opportunities for shooting birds at close range

This Genet had made its home at Motsentsela Tree Lodge and was a regular evening visitor
